Department: Inflight Services Department (ISD)

Reports to: Assistant Manager-Premium Service Training.
 
The Training Specialist will deliver inflight premium services training for all categories of cabin crew.  The position will also be responsible for assisting in the design, development and delivery of premium service training courses and e-learning modules, trainee performance management, the communication of company messages, maintenance and upkeep of learning material.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct premium service training with adherence to service standards, operational and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate soft skills training in Premium Service Training Courses
  • Monitor and assess cabin crew training performance
  • Assist in the design and updating of training materials including e-modules
  • Provide feedback and coaching to trainees
  • Perform  administrative duties (e.g. training reports, records)
  • Classroom or mock-up preparation and housekeeping for training
  • Assist in promoting cabin safety and service related concepts and best practices to the cabin crew community
  • Perform training duties which are deemed appropriate as and when assigned
  • Attend cross section/departmental meetings  as and when required
  • Participate in training related projects as and when required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service and/or cabin crew experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Good presentation skills and good working knowledge of computer skills with MS Office applications
  • A quick learner , organized and able to work effectively and professionally  under time pressure with strong desire to help others to succeed
  • Open-minded and adaptive to change
  • May be required to work on Saturdays or Public Holidays
